Is Obama tone deaf?

by Ken Feltman

Focus groups convened after President Obama’s latest attempt to revive healthcare legislation suggest that the president may have misjudged the willingness of the public to tolerate Washington devoting more time to healthcare now.

Participants were noisy, angry, frustrated and united in questioning whether Obama would ever get the message. They see him as fixated on one thing to the exclusion of what they want Washington to work on.

These are not good times to be Democrats running for reelection.
