by Mark Rhoads

The June 20 edition of The DC Daily Caller blog is reporting this: Former Secretary of Commerce and current White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley had to answer heated questions about Obama Administration economic policies during a meeting last Thursday with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). Mostly the executives were upset not so much by new laws, but by heavy new regulatory burdens imposed on businesses by federal agencies. Reporter Matthew Boyle quotes Daley as telling the business leaders he did not have any good answers for them and “Sometimes you cannot defend the indefensible.”
