Joe Battenfeld of the Boston Herald writes today that the Democrats should dump President Obama if they want to keep the White House. His choice: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Never mind that Clinton says she is not interested, not at all, not in the remotest way.
When opinion articles like this begin to appear in newspapers otherwise known for their rational, mostly even-handed coverage, you know the scent of fear is in the air. Dozens of earlier articles about Clinton challenging Obama have been in blogs and publications that I do not think have the mainline image of the Herald.
Watch to see how many of these articles you find. When they reach critical mass, the “draft-anybody” movement starts. That would probably not prevent Obama from winning renomination, but it will put a lot of Democratic workers on the sidelines during the 2012 campaign. They will not want to suffer through what they conclude is a losing effort.
This would make it TWO of his cabinet secretaries that are running against Obama! LOL.
I hope she runs! We need something to break the Obama spell.
Dick Morris just sent an email saying he told Hannity that Hillary would be a better president.
You are a complete idiot!! Where did you get this idea? The Herald is a piece of junk and so are you.
Is it too late? She’d need to resign first and she’s doing a good job.
