Rick Perry and the N-word

by Ken Feltman

What was Gov. Rick Perry thinking when he decided to run for president? Was he thinking that no one would ever know about the offensive name of his family hunting camp? Did he think not enough people would be concerned about it to make much difference? Did he think he could explain it away if asked about it? Did it never even cross his mind?

We would need an answer to judge whether Perry is as insensitive as the name makes him seem – or whether he is just oblivious. But we do not need an answer to understand that this and other incidents have established that, despite his winning ways in Texas, Perry is unprepared for the national stage. He should exit the stage before more embarrassing problems dribble out. Today, he is hurting himself. The longer he stays, the more he will hurt the Republican Party and the country.

You don’t like Perry do you? You don’t understand that the name wasn’t put there by Perry do you? You need to check your facts. Everyone knows he’s not a racist but you. Why do you hate him? You and the Washington Post are the haters. Just wait to see Perry will be a great President. Don’t mess with Texas!!!

What’s the matter with people in TX that they think they’re so great when amost of them are just bigots? We should let them go like Perry wants. They have this bumper sticker “USA out of TX”. Well, how do you like “TX out of the USA!”

    • Juthamas says:

you can’t. but just put it in you pocket and you’ll be fine. beaucse they may check purses. Once you get in there, there will be too many ppl for them to care if you have a camera or not. If anything they will tell you to put it away.

  6. EZeek says:

The man is a racist in the sense that all whites from the south are racists. They can’t help it maybe. They just don’t know they are. Like that Barber from Mississippi. He thought citizen councils were all peaches and cream in Mississippi. Try growing up black in Mississippi.

  7. Fran Weber says:

When people don’t know that this was offensive, then their racism is too deep for anyone to purge. But we can vote against them.

  8. Gerry says:

Your analysis is right. Perry did not think this through and now it’s bitten him. He will never win a general election due toi this boneheaded failure to THINK!

  9. Fuming Raging says:

You let them off toooooo EZ
