GOP primaries may have made GOP loses in November more likely

  • In South Carolina’s primary, ardent Trump backer defeats Rep. Mark Sanford.
  • In Virginia, Trump supporter wins and promises to wage a “vicious” campaign against Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine.

As predicted, President Donald Trump influenced yesterday’s primary elections, especially in South Carolina and Virginia.
