Most Don’t Agree With Democrats OR Republicans in Congress

Voters continue to see Democrats in Congress as more liberal than they are and congressional Republicans as more conservative.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters think the average Democrat in Congress is more liberal than they are, although that’s down from 54% three years ago.

Only 18% feel the average congressional Democrat is more conservative, while 29% say politically their views are about the same.
