Trump cranks up attacks on the Black Lives Matter movement for racial justice

  • Trump highlighted a quote from a man who runs a Black Lives Matter knock-off group, and a chant that is not popular with protesters, to suggest that the racial justice movement poses a threat.
  • The tweets come near the end of a week during which Trump, trailing badly behind Democrat Joe Biden in polls, has repeatedly sought to sow fresh racial divisions among Americans.
