This was wonderful! I must go see that tree. I never expected a love story here but now that I have reread it, I see it has a political side, too. Truly wonderful! July 4, 2019

You were right about Trump all along. What will be his future? June 2019

I do not believe that USA is in decline. You are not to be believed. You are not trying to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Liberals like you will not win. June 2019

I fear that you are correct. The US and Russia are declining and China is rising. June 2019

You’re like a refreshing cold drink on a hot day. Thanks for the sanity!!! January 2018

Every time I come here, I think this is among the most important info for me to know.
And I’m glad reading your articles. My English is not good. But your style and words are good. I learn. Good job! December 2017

Always delighted by these weblog posts. They carry tons of helpful facts,  not just tons of words. Thanks for providing this different and better information. December 2017

Pretty nice post! I just stumbled upon your blog. I’ve truly enjoyed browsing almost all your recent blog posts. In any case I hope you write again soon! I also hope to meet you maybe some time when I come to Washington? December 2017

Nice touch. I like this one better than the last one because I knew something about it before reading it. I also like the stuff you write in Politico. That is where I first found you years ago. October 2017

Some really interesting ideas in your blogging. I would never think of it that way but I have a better understanding after reading your blog. You take good ideas and explain them with a different way of looking at things I thought I knew about. Please keep writing. September 2017

You are crazy. Much worse, you are wrong! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! July 2017

I’m shocked that I found this info so easily and how good it is. First Google search. Answered my questions and predicted correctly. June 2017

Fantastic blog! June 2017

Hello! I admit it. I’m a fan. Love the personality analyses. Obama came alive! The songwriter who is a baseball fan: I know him as a person and not just his music now. Kazuko from Japan: I understand her feelings and her life. Mrs. Smith, the teacher: I wish I had been in her class! Please keep them coming! December 2016

You pretty much called it! And months ago! Wow! You helped me impress my friends! They were sure Hillary would win. Thank you! November 2016

I should know all about this topic. I studied it in college and grad school. I teach it. But YOU taught me a new way to analyze it. July 2016

Cool! Clever way of looking at it! February 2015

Thank you for the off beat way to write about things. I’d like more from the British writer. He is perceptive and knows how to make history important by showing what history means for today’s events. September 2014

This is absolutely crazy, funny, poignant, perfect! A cemetery and baseball! I can’t believe it but I do because I just read it. It makes sense! I want to visit Bohemian National Cemetery. Do they do tours of their Wrigley Field wall? September 2014

Now I have you bookmarked!! September 2014

You can take Obama out of Chicago but …
I keep rereading your articles on Obama and his Chicago past. Everyone should read them. Then they will understand who he really is, his good qualities and not so good. August 2014

English is not my first language (German). It’s fantastic that you are getting to me your thoughts in this article so well as if we are together and understand perfectly each other. July 2014

You read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this. Did you write a book on it or something? I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit,
but other than that, this is a fantastic blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back. July 2014

Awesome! I do not remember reading anything like this before. So nice to find another person with a few original thoughts. Really. July 2014

Many thanks. This is one thing that’s needed on the internet, someone with a bit of originality and humor! June 2014

Poignant. Beautiful. You made me almost cry for the people in New Orleans. And I’m a 6-4 tough guy. LOL. I feel like I was there in person. April 2014

Thanks for talking about “You can take Obama out of Chicago but” ….. in Radnor Reports. I Liked it! I Learned a Lot! April 2014

I keep rereading your articles on Obama and his Chicago past. Everyone should read them. Then they will understand who he really is. You tell the truth in an honest way and even Obama should like how you portray him. April 2014

Good post, however, I  want to know if you could write a little more on this subject? I trust your writing. It is so interesting. I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit more. Thank you! April 2014

This ѡeƅ site proνides quality in the articles and reviews and the other data. My professor was surprised at the quality and the way you look at things from different but realistic points of view. March 2014

Watching Obama has gone from a slow train wreck to a fast train wreck. You explain the real Obama. He is a politician but also a good person. What do Americans say? Warts and all? March 2014

Your post makes me miss Nathan’s hot dogs! Yummy! March 2014

I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I don’t know who you are but definitely you’re going to be a famous blogger if you aren’t already.  July 2013

I’m a Brit but I want to understand the States better. You pointed me in interesting directions! July 2013

I thought this was a political blog and then I saw this post and thought it was a mispost. But it’s political all right! New spin on a topic that’s been written about for years. Good show! August 2011

How do you write so well about so many things? I have wanted to ask that question. I must write and tell you that I loved the pieces about your Japanese assistant. What comes through is how you respect her and her mother and boy friend. You admire her determination. Arranging for her to meet President Ford must have been difficult but it makes a wonderful article even better. You understand the Japanese way, the Japanese mind. I have been to Japan and loved it and the people. I am happy that she became an American citizen. We need her and more like her. I am embarrassed that my country treated her family so terribly during the war. I hope she is not too lonely now. At least she has her view of the river! Thanks! April 2011
